Lapse in judgment

Problem: Helen won't wear anything in her hair, and her hair is always in her face.
Solution: Have her hair cut so that she has bangs.

Problem: Bangs grow, hair is in her face again.
Solution: Must cut bangs often.

Problem: We currently get her haircut at a place that has limited hours of operation (and is expensive). And we have no free time.
Solution: We'll buy some haircutting scissors, and cut the bangs ourselves in between haircuts.

Problem: Helen will only let Daddy, not Mommy, fix her hair.
Solution: This morning before school, Cort cut Helen's bangs.

Problem: She looks like her bangs were cut with a bowl on top of her head -- a bowl that was crooked, and too high on one side.
Solution: None available in the 15 minutes left before we needed to get her to school. Sorry Helen!
