This morning Cort went into the boys' room when they woke up. Immediately upon walking in, Charlie asked him, "Dad, do you know when Willie Parker's birthday is?" Cort said he didn't. Charlie, happily: "It's this Thursday!"
Cort came back into our room and recounted this story for me. I had to interrupt him to ask, who in the heck is Willie Parker? Turns out he is a runningback for the Washington Redskins. Oh, of course.
Charlie. The only person I know who can outdo Cort when it comes to ridiculous sports knowledge.
These little Charlie sports idiosyncracies my Monday.
